Product Overview

The 2304398 is a genuine Paccar cylinder head designed for 2024 Kenworth T880 and DAF XF/XF106 trucks equipped with the MX-13 diesel engine. Mounted on top of the engine block, it works with the head gasket to seal the combustion chambers while housing the valves, injector locations, and intake and exhaust ports. 

Product Features

The 2304398 cylinder head is manufactured to Paccar factory specifications for sealing the combustion chambers and managing airflow through the MX-13 engine.

  • Positioned on top of the engine block, the cylinder head forms the upper section of each combustion chamber.
  • Working with the head gasket, its machined surface seals combustion pressure above the cylinders.
  • Intake passages formed within the head direct incoming air toward the combustion chambers.
  • Separate exhaust ports route burned gases away from the cylinders and into the exhaust system.
  • Injector mounting locations position the diesel injector nozzles directly at the combustion area.
  • Integrated coolant channels circulate engine coolant around high-temperature sections of the casting.
  • Valve locations within the head control the opening and closing of the intake and exhaust passages.
