Product Overview

The K160648 is a genuine Bendix AD-HF High Flow air dryer designed for specified Kenworth, Freightliner, Volvo, Peterbilt, International, and Mack trucks, as well as Utility 3000 Series trailers. This stand-alone unit operates within the compressed air system, using a PuraGuard coalescing cartridge to remove moisture and oil aerosols from compressed air before distribution to downstream circuits.

Product Features

The K160648 AD-HF High Flow air dryer is manufactured to Bendix factory specifications for compressed air drying and pressure distribution:

  • Features a stand-alone AD-HF configuration with a 1/2-14 NPT supply port for compressed air connections.
  • Uses a PuraGuard coalescing cartridge to remove moisture and oil aerosols from the compressed air supply.
  • Incorporates four parallel pressure protection valves for primary, secondary, and auxiliary air delivery circuits.
  • Equipped with an extended purge volume and hard-seat purge valve for controlled moisture discharge.
  • Includes a 12V, 90W heater with a sealed Metri-Pack 280 Series two-way electrical connector.
  • Features a non-adjustable governor with 110 PSI cut-in and 130 PSI cut-out pressure settings.
  • Uses an aluminum reservoir with integral fill, measuring 10.2 inches in diameter and 6.35 inches long.
